This Week In Manchester: Planning Board Meeting; Undertaker Talks
Check out library events for things to keep your week lively.

This is the 14th week of 2015.
The only municipal meeting this week is the Planning Board, which meets Monday at 7 p.m. in the municipal building.
Here are some library events at the Manchester branch of the Ocean County Library to chase away the boredom. Registration is requested for the events; call 732-657-7600.

On Tuesday, learn about the World Book encyclopedia online. The database for young researchers includes articles, maps, activities and more. The session begins at 6:30 p.m. for children 6-9 years old.
On Wednesday, it’s the feature film “Fury,“ scheduled for screenings at noon, 3 and 6 p.m. This movie is rated R. The year is 1945. Army sergeant Wardaddy is the grizzled commander of a Sherman tank. Determinded to strike a decisive victory for the Allies in the European Theater, Wardaddy leads his five-man crew on a treacherous mission behind enemy lines. 135 minutes.

On Thursday, come in your pajamas and hang out for Family Pajama Time Fiesta. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes stories, puppets, parachute play and a craft. Geared toward ages 4-6, siblings, parents and grandparents welcome!
Or, also Thursday, visit the Toms River branch of the library for a glimpse into the world of the funeral director as Todd Harra, co-author of ”Over Our Dead Bodies: Undertakers Lift the Lid,” speaks at 7 p.m. Harra, fourth-generation undertaker and co-author of the critically acclaimed, and hugely popular, :Mortuary Confidential: Undertakers Spill the Dirt.” He will share stories from the collection of quirky, fascinating, and humorous anecdotes from funeral directors across the United States that are featured in his latest book.
