UPDATED: Lakehurst Egg Hunt Canceled; Little League Opening Day Set for Sunday

UPDATE: Lakehurst's Easter Egg hunt, scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Horicon Park, has been canceled due to inclemate weather, said borough Clerk Burnadette Dugan. 

1. The Manchester Municipal Alliance will host its first on Sunday, 1 p.m. at Harry Wright Lake in Whiting. Plungers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older, with a maximum of three minor participants registered to each adult.

2. The will hold a flapjack fundraiser at the Manchester Applebee's from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Kids can have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny at the event. Call 732-657-1106 for more information. 

3. Sunday marks opening day for Manchester Little League baseball players. Players, families and the public can arrive at 9 a.m.; ceremonies begin at 9:15 a.m. Check out the league's website for more information.

4. Lakehurst will hold its Easter Egg hunt at beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. More information is available by calling borough hall at 732-657-4141. 

5. Manchester's 14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Pine Lake begins at 10 a.m. Sunday. Registration was required by Monday, March 26.
