Whiting Woman Dies After Car Hits Tree: Manchester Police
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester Township woman was killed Saturday evening after her car ran off the road and hit a tree in the Whiting section, Manchester Township police said Sunday.
Lori Dubielak, 49, of Whiting, was found unresponsive and taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, where she succumbed to her injuries, Manchester Capt. Todd Malland said.
Dubielak was driving west on Lacey Road in a gray 2005 Honda CRV about 6:30 p.m. when she veered off the right side of the road and hit a tree near Lake Road, Malland said.

Dubielak was wearing her seatbelt and her airbag had deployed, but she was unresponsive to first responders, he said.
Assisting at the scene were members of the Whiting Volunteer Fire Company, EMTs from Quality Medical Transport and paramedics from MONOC. Also assisting were detectives from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, Crime Scene Investigations Unit and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

Patrolman Ian Bole of the department’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating.
