Women In Leadership Share Insights With Manchester Girls
Manchester juniors had the opportunity to network and make professional connections for their years beyond high school.

MANCHESTER, NJ —Students in Manchester Township High School's Junior Achievement Academy got to rub elbows and learn about careers at the recent Women's Future Leadership Academy conference in Voorhees.
The event gave the high school girls the opportunity to meet and speak with women at a variety of career stages and backgrounds.
The professionals offered advice and shared how to approach learning new skills and setting goals for the future.

The half-day sessions began with speakers or moderated career panels, followed by interactive small-group mentoring led by volunteers that encourage participants to learn, get involved, and network.
The students met executives from companies such as Santander Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Goldman Sachs, PSEG, and Virtua. They had the opportunity to work on skills and elevator pitches, and participate in leadership collaborative activities in small groups.
