Work Continues To Battle Freeze Issues In Manchester
Crews working on streets throughout town, mayor says
Residents who woke up to icy streets in Manchester this morning are being asked to be patient.
Mayor Ken Palmer said the snow Monday afternoon combined with temperatures that fell as low as 15 degrees overnight left ice on roads throughout town.
“All of our roads had ice issues,” Palmer said by email this morning. “Our DPW (Department of Public Works) guys worked throughout the night plowing and salting. They will continue to do so, in Pine Lake Park and the rest of town for the remainder of the day.”
