MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Police Department is accepting applications for its annual Youth Police Academy, to give Manchester students a glimpse into law enforcement.

The Youth Police Academy will be held July 31 through Aug. 3 at Manchester Township Police Headquarters, 1 Colonial Drive, and is open to kids who will be in sixth, seventh or eighth grades in September.

The Youth Police Academy is not a “boot camp” for troubled youth, but a camp designed to operate like an actual police academy for those interested in law enforcement, the police department said.
