MANVILLE, NJ — School supplies are ready as Manville students prepare to return to their classrooms Tuesday, September 8.
The first day of the 2026-27 school year will be an early-dismissal day, according to the district calendar. Before the opening bell, Roosevelt School will welcome third-grade students for an open house next Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. Alexander Batcho Intermediate School will hold fifth-grade orientation that evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
Staff will report for two in-service days next Thursday and Friday. Schools will then remain closed Monday for Labor Day before students arrive Tuesday.
Manville School District serves students at Weston Elementary, Roosevelt School, Alexander Batcho Intermediate School and Manville High School.
Families may want to double-check transportation arrangements, schedules and opening-day instructions before students leave home.
