MANVILLE, NJ — Manville voters planning to return their mail-in ballots before the general election have a secure ballot drop-box location available right in the borough.
According to the New Jersey Division of Elections, the drop box is at the Manville Municipal Building, 325 North Main Street, in front of the building.
Voters can also use another authorized drop box in Somerset County, such as Bound Brook Borough Hall at 230 Hamilton Street in Bound Brook.
Another nearby location is the Bridgewater Municipal Building at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater.
The state says ballot drop boxes are under video surveillance and available 24 hours per day through the general election.
The deadline to place a completed mail-in ballot in an authorized drop box is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Voters who would prefer another return method can deliver their completed and sealed ballots to the Bergen County Board of Elections at One Bergen County Plaza, Room 310, in Hackensack, by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Residents can find additional authorized locations through the state's ballot drop-box directory.
Mail-in ballots can also be returned through the mail. The state Division of Elections says mailed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received by the county Board of Elections no later than Monday, Nov. 9.
Mail-in ballots cannot be returned to regular Election Day polling places or early voting locations.
Voters can also check whether their mail-in ballot has been received through New Jersey's Track My Ballot portal.
