Dog Reunited, Found 15 Miles Away From Somerset County Home

Hunter, a Manville family's beagle, had been missing since Sunday and made his way all the way down to Princeton.

MANVILLE, NJ — Happy news! Hunter, a Manville family's lost dog, is back home and he had quite the adventure.

He was reunited with his family on Wednesday after having gone missing on Sunday. He had been last seen on S. 6th Avenue in Manville and made his way all the way down to Princeton.

A woman walking on a path in Princeton found Hunter on Sunday and tried calling the police but since the dog wasn't reported missing there, she didn't get any help.

She brought Hunter home to Edison and then gave him to a family member in South River while she was at work. She began to search online and found Ashley Bittle's PawBoost alert and was able to get in touch.

They met at Petsmart in East Brunswick on Wednesday and is now enjoying the extra love his family is giving him. Bittle says Hunter has been sleeping a lot since he has been worn out from his adventure.
