Manville Car Stolen In Front Of Home On Saturday
2 Manville men and 1 Somerset man were arrested for drinking alcohol in public in the borough in a separate incident: police blotter.

MANVILLE, NJ — A North 6th Avenue resident reported that his vehicle, a 2006 blue Nissan Altima was taken from the roadway in front of his home one hour prior to contacting the police on Sept. 9 at 7:37 p.m.
Patrols checked the area and the vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen, police reported.
The vehicle is later recovered in Woodbridge. Detectives were notified and the investigation is continuing.

On Sept. 5 at 11:36 a.m.: During an investigation at Memorial Park, patrols locate three males consuming alcoholic beverages. Patrols subsequently arrest Yaroslav Mytsak, 32, of Somerset, Stanslav Aras, 32, of Manville and Georg Gayko, 29, of Manville for having an open container of alcohol beverage in public. They were all issued summonses and released.

On Sept. 5 at 8:40 p.m.: Following an investigation on Knopf Street, patrols subsequently arrest Brandon Powell, 23, for controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and an outstanding warrant out of South Bound Brook. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.
On Sept. 6 at 12:18 p.m.: Following an investigation, Detectives charge Christopher Sawyer, 42, of Manville with forgery (third degree), uttering a forged document (third degree) and theft by deception (third degree). He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.
On Sept. 6 at 1:22 p.m.: As a result of a motor vehicle stop, patrols arrest Mariuas Dziwak, 39, of Manville for being an unlicensed driver. The vehicle was impounded for operating with no insurance.
