Manville Halloween-A-Palooza Creeps Back Into Town

MANVILLE, NJ — Spooky season is getting closer in Manville, and families can mark their calendars for the fourth annual Halloween-A-Palooza on.

Manville Recreation said in a Facebook post that families can gather at the Manville Public Library at 100 South 10th Avenue beginning at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. The Halloween parade, which will step off at 4 p.m., will make its way to the VFW for the rest of the afternoon’s festivities.

Nightmare on Whittier will lead the parade in a hearse, with photo opportunities available during the day.

Visitors can also walk through the “Buried Alive Cemetery,” which organizers said will be set up next to the VFW during the event.

A trunk or treat will run from 4:30 to 8 p.m., followed by a Halloween party from 5 to 8 p.m. featuring music, food, games and a costume contest.

“We would love to see you there,” Manville Recreation wrote.

Families interested in hosting a trunk are asked to register through Community Pass. Registration is only required to host a trunk, and anyone seeking additional information can contact the Manville Recreation Office at 908-725-9478 ext. 106.
