Manville Man Had 242 Bags Of Heroin: Prosecutor
Baten Eure of Manville was arrested after a search of his South Main Street home uncovered heroin, prescription pills, marijuana and more.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Manville man was arrested for having 242 bags of heroin and other drugs in his South Main Street home, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.
Baten Eure, 43, was being investigating by authorities for drug dealing by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force along with members of the Manville Police Department.
A search of his home on Jan. 17 at arund 7:30 p.m. found 242 bags of heroin, prescription pills, under 50 grams of marijuana and hypodermic syringes, Robertson said.

The heroin has an estimated street value of $1,600.
Eure was charged with third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substance (heroin) with the intent to distribute, third-degree possession of prescription legend drugs, third-degree possession of CDS (marijuana) under 50 grams and possession of hypodermic syringes, both disorderly person offenses.

He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
