SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Somerset County Planning Division has extended the deadline for nominations for its 38th annual Land Development and Planning Awards program to August 20 to ensure all applicants have adequate time to prepare submissions. The planning awards program is intended to highlight innovative community planning projects that improve the lives of residents and protect the environment.

Nominations are being sought in the categories of: residential; adaptive use; commercial; industrial; public/institutional; green building design; renewable energy/energy conservation; and excellence in planning. Entries will be judged by the Somerset County Planning Board.
