$100K Lotto Jackpot Ticket Sold In Maplewood

The winner will split the Jersey Cash 5 proceeds with someone from Middlesex County.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $100,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Tuesday. Each ticket is worth $50,000.

One of those winning tickets was sold at the Maple Chek, 1942 Springfield Ave. The other ticket was sold at the ACME at 300 Ryder Lane in Milltown.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Maple Chek and Acme," Lotto Acting Executive Director James Carey said. "The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery
winners.”

The winning numbers were: 02, 09, 16, 27 and 33 and the XTRA number was: 02.

Carey announced that there were 269,453 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 47 ticket holders won $443 each and 13 others won $886 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five
numbers drawn, 1,715 ticket holders won $14 each and 366 others won $28 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 4,066 ticket holders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
