MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A local Maplewood church will once again be hosting an annual summer tradition with its Turnover Sale.
On Thursday, Morrow Memorial United Methodist Church invites the public to its 93rd Annual Turnover Sale.
The event is a multi-week community resale event offering a wide selection of clothing, home goods, books, toys, electronics, furniture, and collectibles.
Proceeds support charities serving women, youth, and children across Northern New Jersey and around the world.
The Turnover Sale is a celebration of generosity, sustainability, and service, organizers told Patch.
In 2025, the sale raised more than $106,000 for a number of organizations including Achieve, Backpack Pals, Family Promise, Isaiah House, Clara Maas Safe House, Cougar Cares, Columbia High School Scholarship Fund, SOMA Parenting Center, South Mountain YMCA, South Orange Rescue Squad, and MEND, as well as Morrow Church's United Methodist Committee.
For this year's event, Morrow kids will run a lemonade stand on both Saturday mornings of the sale — June 27 and July 11.
The sale will begin at 7 and run until 9 p.m. on Thursday.
