National Night Out Will Return In Maplewood: Food, Music, Entertainment

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A "National Night Out" celebration will return in Maplewood for 2026.

The Maplewood Police Department will host this year's event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Maplecrest Park.

The free celebration is open to the public. It will include food, music, children's activities and law enforcement demonstrations, in addition to safety information from local emergency responders.

National Night Out is commemorated each summer in towns across the United States. The event helps to foster connections between police and the public.
