MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Things are about to get a little strange at a pop-up gallery in Maplewood.
"Delightfully Strange", a new group exhibition from The Art Generators, opens Friday at The Art Generators Gallery, 14 Newark Way.
A free opening reception runs from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition features original work by local and regional artists, ranging from playful oddities and dreamlike imagery to darker curiosities.
Presented in partnership with Artie's, the exhibition runs through Oct. 31. Regular gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Art Generators is an artist-led collective founded by Ken Stanek, Sumana Ghosh Witherspoon, Magie McGowan and Natalie Crandall.
Admission is free and open to the public.
