MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Before heading to the polls for the general election, Maplewood voters may want to double-check their voting location. One polling place changed earlier this year, affecting three districts.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to the township's 2026 election information, voters in Districts 1, 3 and 6 will cast their ballots at Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker Street.
The change took effect with the June primary election, making it especially important for voters who haven't checked their polling locations recently.
For voters in Districts 2, 7, 8 and 17, the assigned polling location is The Woodland, 60 Woodland Road.
Clinton Elementary School, located at 27 Berkshire Road, will welcome voters from Districts 4, 10, 16 and 22.
Meanwhile, residents in Districts 5, 15, 19 and 20 will cast their ballots at Prospect Presbyterian Church, 646 Prospect Street.
Maplewood Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue, is the designated polling location for Districts 9, 11, 12 and 21.
Voters assigned to Districts 13 and 14 should head to the Maplewood Health Department and Community Support Center, 129 Boyden Avenue.
Unsure which district you're in? Voters can check their sample ballot to verify their assigned polling place.
Voters can also confirm their assigned location before Election Day using the New Jersey Division of Elections' polling place search tool.
