MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Students in the South Orange and Maplewood School District have several school closures and schedule changes coming up on the district calendar.
According to the district's official calendar, schools will be closed to students Tuesday, Nov. 3, for Election Day, with professional development scheduled for staff.
However, Columbia High School's calendar also lists "CHS HAS SCHOOL TODAY!" for Tuesday, alongside an entry saying school is closed to students.
The district also lists closures Thursday, Nov. 5, and Friday, Nov. 6, for the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Conference.
Families can find more information about school schedules and upcoming closures on the South Orange and Maplewood School District's official website.
