On Saturday, May 5, Maplewood’s premiere martial arts academy, Maplewood Karate, will open at its new facility located at 97 Baker Street in Maplewood Village. Maplewood Karate offers martial arts classes for all ages, from four year olds to adult, in karate and kickboxing.
All karate programs are designed to help students reach their highest potential. In After School Karate and Karate Kids, students will learn the importance of self respect, self discipline and goal setting, all while having fun. Adult Karate classes teach basic to advanced techniques of karate and self defense to beginners and advanced students alike. In addition to classes exclusively for children and adults, Maplewood Karate offers a popular family karate class, where parents can train and learn with their children.
