An Interactive Map of CHS College Destinations

The colleges chosen by members of the class of 2010 dot the map.

We've put together a Google map showing college destinations of the Columbia High School Class of 2010. It's color-coded to show the number of grads headed to a designated school (Temple University and Penn State both had more than seven, as well as some local universities you might expect, like Rutgers.)

There's also an alphabetical list to show all the schools where newly minted graduates plan to enroll. (We got our information from The Columbian, which annually prints a list of students' college choices.)

Notably, there are three grads headed to Columbia University and two headed to Wesleyan. Two more are headed to the University of Tennessee, and three are going to Oberlin. One is off to Reed College in Portland, Ore., while another is headed to Rice in Houston. And one will attend the super-selective Deep Springs College in the California desert, where just 26 male students are enrolled.
