Are You Bulking Up for Bulk Pickup?

Maplewoodians! You better step up your attic/closet/garage/basement cleanups and clearances. The dates for the 2010 curbside bulk pick ups are fast approaching for some. Check below (but please make sure you look at the schedule for YOUR garbage hauler). The map is listed on the Township's website in the Leaflet, and we've attached the file here as well (scroll to the end of the attachment) for your convenience!

Also, be aware that there will be no further bulk drop-OFFs at the Maplewood recycling center this year. There is one more electronics recycling dropoff on October 16; and the County is holding a hazardous waste collection day in Cedar Grove tomorrow, October 2.

November 4—Zones 3, 4, 10

October 27—Zones 9 & 10
November 3—Zones 7 & 8
November 10—Zones 5 & 6
November 17—Zones 3 & 4
November 24—Zones 1 & 2

Any Zones not completed due to volume will be completed the following day. If you have any questions please call your hauler. You can reach Waste Industries via their website or at 908-436-1976. You can reach Waste Management through the company website.

And while we're at it, remember that Township will begin leaf collection soon (general collection starts October 11; collection by zones starts October 25)—or you may want to hang onto some of those leaves and think about composting.
