Barnabas Health Medical Group Welcomes Addition of Dr. Magda Louka
Fellowship-trained, geriatrician
Barnabas Health Medical Group (BHMG) has announced the addition of fellowship-trained geriatrician Magda Louka, D.O., M.D., to its network of primary and specialty care physicians. Specializing in geriatrics and family medicine, with a clinical interest in dementia and frail elderly syndromes, Dr. Louka is affiliated with The Geriatric Health Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility.
Dr. Louka earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, NY and her medical degree from Assiut School of Medicine in Assiut, Egypt. She completed her family practice residency and geriatrics fellowship at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Ocean Side, NY.
Dr. Louka also served as a family medicine physician in Assiut Egypt. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Public Health Association.

The Geriatric Health Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center provides comprehensive services to promote the overall health of aging adults, as well as the prevention and treatment of disease and disabilities that may occur as people age.
