Bibliophiles Wanted For Maplewood-South Orange Book Festival 2017
Readers, literature lovers and all-around bibliophiles will find a home in Essex County on June 9 and 10.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Readers, literature lovers and all-around bibliophiles will find a home in Essex County on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10, when the Maplewood-South Orange Book Festival brings a consort of award-winning, adult to YA authors to the area.
The 2017 event takes place at the Woodland in Maplewood, the South Orange Performing Arts Center and other venues around Maplewood and South Orange.
Attractions include author “in conversations,” thought-provoking panels and an all-day, dedicated children’s area, according to the event website.

The festival will also feature a keynote address by best-selling popular science author Mary Roach, and a closing keynote from 2017 Caldecott Medal winner Javaka Steptoe.
