MAPLEWOOD, NJ —Just because you live in a dense part of the state doesn't mean you can't enjoy nature, and even give it some help.

Maplewood's Environmental Advisory Committee has announced upcoming environmental activities in the area, including a bird count.

The town is accepting applications from local residents who want to be involved or volunteer.
