BOOK PARTY FEATURING OPEN MIC & REFRESHMENTS: This Sat. 9/20/14

Join local author and college professor Emily E. Axelrod this Saturday night at 7:30 pm, at Words Bookstore in Maplewood, NJ, as she hosts a poetry book party for her new work, Minor Injuries. Featuring refreshments including wine, cheese, fruit and other goodies. After a brief reading by Emily there will be an open mic for any reader who wants to share his/her work or a meaningful excerpt by another author. All written genres welcome, not just poetry. 2-3 minutes per person. The event will run approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours. Admission is free. Minor Injuries will be available for sale at the front register.
