Code Yellow Shuts Down Columbia High School: Alert Cleared

A temporary lockdown and Code Yellow alert at Columbia High School in Maplewood prevented hundreds of students from entering the building on Wednesday morning.

The Maplewood Police Department issued an update about the alert at 10:38 a.m.

“The Maplewood Police Department was informed of a potential safety issue by Columbia HS administrators and as a precautionary measure the school was placed into Code Yellow. Code Yellow has been lifted, all students and staff are safe and returning to normal scheduling.”
