BREAKING: Fire at Millburn Mall
One Exxon station employee has been taken to the hospital.
Millburn fire fighters continue to fight a blaze that broke out at the Exxon Station at the corner of Millburn Avenue and Vauxhall Road at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Tom Pizzano, captain of the Millburn Fire Department, has confirmed that an Exxon employee has been taken to an area hospital with burns to his hands and the Essex County Prosectutor's Office has been notified as per standard precedure when there is a fire at a commercial property.

There is no official word on the cause of the fire at this time. Several area fire department's are on scene providing aid including Irvington, Summit, Maplewood and Union. Volunteers from theMillburn-Short Hills Chapter of the American Red Cross is also on scene.
The Exxon employee said he heard people screaming "Fire! Fire" and within 15 minutes the entire building was up in flames. The structure appears to be destroyed.
