Join STUDIO TOUR SOMA 26 (South Orange / Maplewood) for its annual, free event on Saturday and Sunday, November 7–8, 2026. More than 100 professional and emerging visual artists will open 35 studios and public locations across Maplewood and South Orange to display and sell their work. It’s a perfect opportunity to begin or grow an art collection and connect directly with the artists.
Since 2003, Studio Tour SOMA has drawn visitors from across the tri-state area to experience the creativity thriving in our community. Local artists open their doors to share their work, process, and creative journeys - whether they’re just starting out or have long-established practices.

Kick off your experience with UNVEILED 26, an exhibition featuring works by over 60 Studio Tour artists at the Herb + Milly Iris Gallery at SOPAC, running from September 17 to November 8, 2025. While you are there, be sure to visit the Loft. We have five other venues within a five-minute walk. For a rewarding experience, start early and visit as many tour sites as you can.
