Car Hits Pedestrian In Maplewood Near Crosswalk, Police Say
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A driver allegedly struck a pedestrian with their car while she was trying to use a crosswalk in Maplewood last week, authorities said.
According to the Maplewood Police Department, the incident took place around 8 p.m. on April 23 at the intersection of Burnet and Baker streets.
The pedestrian told officers that a car struck her in the right leg. She was transported to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston with minor injuries, police said.
