Car Stolen From Parker Avenue: Maplewood Police

One car was burglarized and another was stolen, police said.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - One car was burglarized and another was stolen from the same driveway on Feb. 23, according to the Maplewood Police Department.

According to authorities, at approximately 8 a.m. officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Parker Avenue for report of a stolen car. The resident reported that one of the vehicles left unsecured in the driveway was rummaged through and change and keys were removed from the vehicle, police said.

The keys that were taken from the unlocked vehicle was used to steal another vehicle parked in the driveway, police said.
