Car Stolen From Parking Lot: Maplewood Police

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Police are looking for the person who stole a car from a parking lot off of Burnett Avenue on Fed. 17.

According to the Maplewood Police Department, the car was left running in the parking at approximately 8:30 p.m. The stolen vehicle was later located and recovered in Newark, police said.

The Maplewood Police Department noted that the officers work hard to protect the residents and their property.

"We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times," police said.
