Columbia High School Athletic Director Suspended: Report

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Five staff members of the South Orange-Maplewood School District have been suspended, including Columbia High School’s athletic director, a report says.

During the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education meeting on Aug. 20, the board approved the suspensions of five, unnamed employees. Three of the staff members were suspended without pay indefinitely. No reason for the suspensions was provided.

Last week, citing “those with knowledge of the situation,” TAP Into SOMA identified one of the suspended employees as Columbia High School Athletic Director Larry Busichio. (Read the full article here)
