Columbia High School Student Assaulted
A 14-year-old was attacked by a group of youths.
A 14-year-old Columbia High School student was assaulted by a group of three or four youths in the park off West Third Street on Thursday at about 4:30 p.m. He told police that he recognized them from the Irvington Avenue area.
Police conducted surveillance and arrested a 14-year-old Hispanic male from Irvington in connection with the incident later in the evening, according to South Orange Police Chief James Chelel.
