"The recipe is an old family recipe from a great aunt from my family's cousin's club cook book," say Joe's wife Felice Ecker. "Most of the recipes we use at the Corral are from this cook book — the Krispers cousin's club cookbook. It has five generations of recipes in it."
Felice further explains that the cupcakes are made with ingredients that are all kosher certified. It should be noted, however, that the Cupcake Corral does not have a kosher-certified kitchen.
The Rosh Hashanah cupcakes are $2.75 each and slices of the apple cake are $2.25.
