Dropped Phone Stolen In Maplewood: Police

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Maplewood Police are looking for an opportunistic thief who stole a cell phone from a woman on April 15.

According to authorities, shortly after 11 a.m. a woman running for the bus dropped her cell phone on Springfield Avenue.

Once she realized she dropped the phone she returned to the area to look for it and observed a man pick up the phone and run off with it, police said.
