In Essex County: Friends Of Arts Unbound To Host Art Exhibit and Benefit Sale
The fundraising event is scheduled for March 31 at the Dora Stern Gallery at Arts Unbound in Orange.

Arts Unbound has announced the line-up for its 4th annual "Friends of Arts Unbound" art exhibit and benefit sale, which opens on March 31 at the Dora Stern Gallery at Arts Unbound in Orange.
According to a news release, several new artists are joining to raise funds for the non-profit gallery and art studio for people with disabilities and seniors.
More than twenty-five regional artists will be supporting Arts Unbound programs through an exhibit and sale of their own work, according to the release.

Participating artists include Donna Greenberg of Jersey City, Adam Gustavson, a painter and illustrator from West Orange, Susan Napack of South Orange, Jane R. Dell, a painter in New York City, Louis Toledo, painter and printmaker of Millburn, and Sarah Canfield, a painter from West Orange.
Returning favorites showing their continued support for Arts Unbound include, from South Orange, Rick Hauser and Dorothy Ganek; from Maplewood, Susan Cohen- Harris and Kathy Cantwell; from West Orange, Joan Goldsmith, from Florham Park, Susan Faiola; fromOrange, Terry Boddie, Jeremy Moss, Robert Ramos, Ronald Freeman, and Mike Malbrough; and from Newark, Toni Thomas. Montclair is represented by Steve Langehough, Gayle Mahoney and Yvette Lucas. Mahoney and Lucas are both members of the Board of Directors of Studio Montclair, as is Sarah Canfield. Paul King of Lambertville, Humberto Ramos of Greenville, S.C., Dannielle Mick of Parsippany, and Bob O’Brien ofNutley round out the group.

All are welcome to attend, enjoy refreshments and meet the artists.
According to a news release, Arts Unbound is "dedicated to the artistic achievement of people living with disabilities and the continued artistic enrichment of seniors" by providing visual arts education and professional development to help emerging artists compete in the retail market.
Last year, the organization exhibited the work of 75 artists, many self-taught or “outsider” artists.
The public exhibit opens March 31. The opening reception for the public is Saturday, April 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Dora Stern Gallery at Arts Unbound, 544 Freeman Street in Orange, is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.
