Essex County Store Sells Winning $50K Powerball Lottery Ticket

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — An Essex County store sold a New Jersey Lottery ticket that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Saturday, May 13 drawing, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize, lottery officials announced Monday.

According to NJ Lottery officials, the winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold in Essex County at Morgans Liquors, 309 Irvington Avenue in South Orange.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, May 13 drawing were: 17, 20, 32, 63 and 68. The Red Power Ball number was 19. The Multiplier number was 05.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $204 million for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, May 17 at 10:59 p.m., officials said.
