Anna Baltzer, Jewish American Columbia graduate, former-Fulbright scholar, granddaughter of Holocaust refugees, and award-winning lecturer, author, and activist for Palestinian rights will present her acclaimed presentation the Middle East conflict with photographs and stories from documenting human rights abuses and supporting nonviolent resistance in the West Bank. She will be hosted by the Wyoming Presbyterian Church, 432 Wyoming Avenue in Millburn. The presentation will be held downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. There is no admission charge.
Baltzer’s talk covers checkpoints, the Wall, Israeli activism, censorship, nonviolent resistance, and other topics commonly unheard in the US. Recently appearing on The Daily Show, she is currently touring the country with her book: Witness in Palestine: A Jewish American Woman in the Occupied Territories.
