Friends of the Maplewood Library Spring Program with Guest Speaker Michelle Miller

CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller will be guest speaker at the Friends of the Maplewood Library Spring Program on Monday May 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

Miller will recount some experiences from her career in television journalism and give a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of major network news programs. A prize-winning journalist whose many honors include the Edward R. Murrow Award, Michelle Miller is a frequent contributor to CBS network programs such as "Evening News," "CBS This Morning" and "Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood" and also serves as anchor for "CBS News Up to the Minute." She has interviewed presidents and other world leaders and celebrities and has reported from Los Angeles, New Orleans and Washington DC and is now based in New York. A native of California and graduate of Howard University, she currently resides in Maplewood with her husband and two children.

The program, which is open to the public free of charge, will also include a short business meeting and election of officers.
