
Let’s Mix it Up, the current exhibit at Gallery 1978 demonstrates how various artists have married digital imagery with their work. It features fiber art, encaustic and printmaking. The exhibit runs until May 19. Gallery hours are from 2 to 5 on Saturdays and Sundays.
The exhibition was organized by Dorothy Kuehn . She has been creating custom surfaces for digital printing using specialized coatings called digital grounds. These materials allow artists to incorporate digital printing with traditional artist techniques.
