With the endorsement of Mayor Victor DeLuca and Vice Mayor Kathleen Leventhal the Taskforce for Humanity Coalition is launching a township wide Kindness Campaign. Maplewood residents are urged to engage in acts of kindness on an ongoing basis.
Maplewood is already a leader in environmental awareness and accomplishments (maplewoodisgreen); it is striving to be a truly inclusive, racially integrated community (twotowns); that it should become one of the kindest communities is the logical outcome of its progressive consciousness.
We are inviting clergy, community, business and government leaders as well as dedicated individuals to the kickoff event in order to introduce them to this landmark project. Your presence can help make kindness a way of life in Maplewood and surrounding areas. Participants will receive information, inspiration and have an opportunity to help shape and define the campaign.
