John Brophy Music is launching a one-week afternoon band workshop June 25-29. We will form a band, hold five consecutive days of three-hour rehearsals and perform at an end of week concert at Gallery 1978.
All you need is a little musical experience and the desire to play. Start a Band! Workshop will take care of the organizational side, so you can focus on being creative and cooperating in the pursuit of making music.
The style and makeup of the band is up to the participants, and we will fill in any missing pieces, in order to form a compete band!

Start a Band Workshop will meet Monday through Friday, June 25-29th, from 1:00-4:00 at Gallery 1978, located at 1978 Springfield Avenue, at the corner of Broadview Avenue, in Maplewood. The concert is scheduled for Friday June 29th at 7pm.
Instructor John Brophy currently teaches guitar at Gallery 1978 and at the Maplewood South Orange elementary school After School Program, as well as at the South Orange Maplewood Adult School.

Tuition is $250 ($50 non-refundable deposit due with application, with the $200 balance due June 11th).
