The Eva Samo Lecture Series: Governing One of America's Great Cities - My Experience as Mayor of New Orleans

The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School, as part of the 4-part Eva Samo Lecture Series, is offering this lecture by Marc Morial, former mayor of New Orleans.

During Marc Morial's administration, violent crimes and murders dropped by 60%, the unemployment rate was cut in half, the poverty rate fell and New Orleans' economy experienced its most dramatic growth in over 20 years. In 1996, New Orleans won the All-American City Award and the prestigious City Livability Award.
