The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School, as part of the Eva Samo Lecture Series, is offering this lecture by Dr. Frank Popper, who teaches at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. He is involved with the American studies, geography and political science departments and the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program and also teaches at Princeton University in their the Environmental Studies Program. His article, Siting LULUs, created the concept of Locally Unwanted Land Uses that has become part of the language of planning and the environmental justice movement.
