In his award-winning book, The Garden State in Bloom, photographer and author Walter Choroszewski showcased 66 public gardens of the Garden State. Combining his best images from that classic project with many new photos from continued visits to his favorite NJ garden spots, Mr. Choroszewski has created a new media production and lecture sharing his beautiful photography, the history and facts about each location. To get a close up look at our Garden State in Bloom, be sure to attend the Garden Club’s next meeting, Monday, May 7, 7:30pm at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St., Maplewood, NJ. The meeting is open to the public, admission is free and refreshments (often home made!) are served. For more information visit maplewoodgardenclub.org.
