Workshop on Applying for a Green Card Based on Marriage

 


  • Are you married, or planning
         marriage to a U.S. citizen or Legal Permanent Resident and thinking about
         applying for your own green card? Then this workshop is for you.
         Experienced local immigration attorney Laurie Woog will speak at the
         Scotch Plains Public Library. Her topics will include:

        

         The criteria for obtaining a green card based on marriage

         Who should apply or not apply

     
         Types of evidence to submit

         Procedures and costs

         Legal issues and concerns

         

        

         

         Laurie Woog has extensive experience helping clients obtain temporary work
         visas and green cards.   A member of the American
         Immigration Lawyers Assoc She holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D.
         from Northeastern University

         School of Law.  She is an adjunct professor of immigration law in the paralegal studies department at Union County College.

         

         The Scotch Plains Library is located at 1927 Bartle Avenue, one block from
