YOUTH ORCHESTRAS OF ESSEX COUNTY OPEN HOUSE
The Youth Orchestras of Essex County will be holding a Wine & Cheese Open House and Meet the YOEC Conductors Event on March 11, 2012, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Giorgio’s Restaurant located at 52 Vose Avenue, South Orange, NJ 07079. Admittance is free to adult attendees. YOEC is proud to present the YOC conductors: Lou Kosma (YOEC Music Director and Junior Symphony), Karen Conrad (Essex County Symphony Orchestra), Kimberly Syvertsen (Overture Strings), MaryAnn Mumm (Chamber Ensemble), Murray Colosimo (Woodwinds/Brass Coordinator), Daniel Mumm (Cello Ensemble), Max Morden (Brass Ensemble) and Sophia Anastasia (Flute Choir). For the past 50 years, YOEC’s continued mission is to provide a diverse group of young talented musicians the opportunity to participate in an affordable, high-level orchestral experience while at the same time cultivating a love of classical music.
