Here's How To Volunteer In Maplewood Amid Vaccination Rollout
You can help get food for seniors, sign up to help with Essex County coronavirus vaccination efforts, and more.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood schools posted a list on Monday of how to volunteer amid the covid pandemic, particularly to help underserved populations get a vaccine.

- The COVID-19 SOMA Senior Support Fund was set up to help South Orange and Maplewood seniors with food, financial, transportation, and other support. Click the link above to find out how to donate or volunteer.
- Vulnerable Populations Outreach Coordinator Taliah Jeffers (tjeffers@twp.maplewood.nj.us) can provide educational materials for vaccination outreach that have been vetted and approved by NJDOH, CDC, or other national public health communications organizations, and are ready to go for public use. Getting accurate, up-to-date information to neighbors, schools, houses of worship is important.
