High School Schedules Are In The Mail!

The South Orange-Maplewood School District mailed the schedules today, so watch your mailbox!

High Schoolers in Maplewood and South Orange have been anxiously awaiting word of their schedules — will they have that dreaded 7:30 a.m. class or get to sleep in a little?

The wait will soon be over, as staffers sent out schedules today — so depending on the mail service, it won't be long now.

A welcome letter was sent out to 9th graders earlier this week letting them no what the bell schedule is like and when to report to school.
Ninth graders will report to the Columbia High School gymnasium for their first day of school on Sept. 6 (a day before grades 10-12) and will participate in an orientation session, will attend their classes, meet their teachers, tour the building and attend a Student Activities Fair that day. For that day only their lunch in the cafeteria will be free. (They should plan on paying or bringing their lunches the rest of the year.)

Parents of 9th graders will get their own "Freshman Parents' Night" that night, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria.
